ABOUT PERSEPTIV

We built Perseptiv to put plan sponsors on equal footing.

In your engagement, we work for your committee and no one else.

Plan sponsors are asked to oversee experts. The advisors, recordkeepers and other service providers they oversee usually know more about the plan, the market and the fees than the committee does, and they hold most of the records. That gap is hard to close from the inside, especially for a committee of busy people with other jobs.

Perseptiv exists to narrow it: independent benchmarks, a process run on the committee's behalf, and a record kept for the plan that stays when a provider leaves.

Josh spent his career as a retirement plan advisor working with plan committees. He co-founded a corporate retirement advisory practice that grew to about $4.5 billion in client assets, and across those years kept seeing the same thing: committees were responsible for decisions and records they had little independent visibility into, because the providers they relied on held most of the information.

He chose to build Perseptiv rather than another advisory firm, because oversight only works if it is independent of the providers being overseen. Today Josh and the Perseptiv team act as an independent set of eyes on everyone who touches your plan: bringing your providers' work together, questioning what doesn't add up, and serving as a sounding board before your committee decides.

WHAT WE HOLD TO

Three commitments in every engagement.

01

Independent

We don't sell investments or take part in the decisions we document.

02

Run for you

A managed service. We do the work; your committee makes the decisions.

03

Documented

Every step recorded as it happens, so the record is always ready.

INDEPENDENCE

Independent of every provider, including your advisor. That's what lets us review all of them.
